Once a barn shed, today a provencal kitchen made to order.
We had to tear down everything and rebuild this lovely old sheep shed in the Alpilles.
Gutted roof and shoddy walls then, now a noble and functional kitchen.
Vast space with stone floors and furnished in white-lacquered solid oak. In the provencale tradition, we find authentic elements such as the pedestal sink in hand-cut stone, a two-bay cupboard, with its sculpted façade.
A stand-alone butcher block in wood atop hand-turned legs.
Beneath the ancestral wood beams, we note the dark and elegant presence of the kitchen hood and
the LACANCHE stovetop.
And, finally, for a touch of modern, the central island behind the butcher block is equipped with a
vast under-counter drawer refrigerator.
